The evening will begin at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall with a potluck meal, with the entertainment starting at 7pm. So bring your favorite potluck dish, your singing voice & your musical instruments, and join us in good food, song and celebration of spirit!

Dear Worship Team member:
It is once again time to prepare for our next team meeting. Please mark your calendars for June 10th following the worship service. Lunch will be furnished (fried chicken and fixings) along with good fellowship and discussion. It is important that each one try and participate in these meetings, even if you think you have everything down. New comments and information comes to us constantly, and these meetings allow us to refresh ourselves on duties that we have volunteered to perform. Also, new calendars will be distributed to everyone for the next 3 month cycle of team service.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me during the day at 632-7657 or in the evening at home 634-8519. I look forward to seeing everyone on the 10th and thank each one of you for your service to Unity Church of Christianity – you are truly a joy to serve with!
Blessings,
Jennifer Galloway

Comments from Chere’, Your Spiritual Leader:
Our Lesson Theme for the month of March is to study. . . .
Unity Principle Three “We are co-creators with God, creating reality through thoughts in our minds.”
All things begin in the mind. In the mind of God was an idea; that idea was the creation of the universe, our world and all that is in it, especially mankind, His greatest creation.
We are his greatest creation because He gave us a mind of our own, that we might make our own decisions through our “free will.” All things are created first, by the mind, which sends the idea, and we bring it into manifestation. So our minds are constantly producing ideas, positive and negative ones.
When we connect with God-Mind, our thoughts and ideas are divine and constructive, making for healthy, happy conditions. When we focus on worldly things, our thoughts are negative beliefs and opinions often of a destructive nature. The Bible says to think “on whatever things are true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just and pure, whatever is lovely and gracious…think on these things.” Phil. 4-8.
Thoughts find expression through words. Some words are healing and blessing, while others can be hurtful and wound. Words take form just like the Word God spoke and made us. Our words will act to intensify the negative or positive. So always speak words of courage, hope, and faith so that in your life. All is Well.
You want happiness and joy? Success and prosperity? Then think along with God to co-create that life.

Saturday, November 4th, 2006, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. our church will participate in the "Countywide Garage Sale" at the Nacogdoches County Exposition Center.
Our Goal:
To increase the awareness that Unity Church of Practical Christianity is active in our area and to raise $1,000.00 for the Building fund! We can showcase Unity and shine in the community! Your personal ‘hello’ is worth more than advertising dollars.
What you can do:
Donate some unused treasure or service and you’ll get a receipt for a tax-deduction. It’s a win-win situation. Think of that special item you just don’t use… but that someone else would love! Art, jewelry, a special trinket, small furniture, nice lamps, bookends, quilts. Homemade items, Christmas gifts or decorations would be good items. We don’t want used clothing, unless it’s really special. (You may take your clothes items to Kimberly’s Closet on Mondays, let them know it’s for Unity Church, and we’ll get the money if it sells.) Please share, share, share! We want your ideas!
Ask local businesses to offer an item or service, offering them a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ and a receipt for tax-deduction, of course.
Your time is valuable:
Volunteer to help Sherry and Carl! Working together makes a project fun! Set-up time is Friday from 1:00
– 9:00 p.m. We need help with pricing and setting up the items for a nice display. What Unity has to say about Prosperity:
Creating a vacuum is necessary to create space for new prosperity! Share your time, talents and treasure. It will be returned to you 100 fold!
Want to donate, volunteer or have questions? Sign up NOW!!!
